How to delete your
account and data
Pillmo's personal medicine features work without an account. You can delete your medicines and dose records yourself on your phone.
Delete a medicine and its records
- Open the Medicine tab at the bottom of the app.
- Open the menu for the medicine and choose Delete.
- Confirm twice and tap “Delete for good”. The medicine's schedule, dose records and refill records are deleted with it.
“Archive” and “Pause” keep your records. To delete the records too, choose “Delete”.
Delete all data on your phone
On Android, go to Settings → Apps → Pillmo → Storage → Clear data, or uninstall Pillmo. On iPhone, delete the Pillmo app. Menu names may differ slightly by device.
This deletes the medicines, schedules, dose records, health readings, medicine photos you set and app settings stored on the device. Deleted data can't be restored in the app.
Backup, CSV and PDF files you saved or shared, and original photos in your gallery, are separate. Delete them from wherever you keep them, such as a files app, email or cloud storage. Restoring from a device or cloud backup may bring old data back.
If you can't use the app or need help
Email us at the address below. We don't keep personal medicine data on our server, so we can't delete the records on your phone for you, but we'll tell you how to delete them.
If your email app doesn't open, copy the address and send it yourself. You don't need to send medicine names, dose records, passwords or ID documents.
Have you used a Family account?
If you signed in to Family (Pillmo Premium), you can delete the account and its server data as follows. If you signed in with Apple, the Sign in with Apple connection is revoked too.
- In the app, choose Settings → Family → Delete Family account.
- If you can't use the app, email the address above from the email of the account you signed in with (your Google account, or the email on your Apple Account) and ask us to “Delete my Family account”.
- We'll email you what we need to confirm it's you, and let you know when we receive and complete the request at the same address.
| Data | How it's deleted |
|---|---|
| Household, profiles and names, synced medicines, schedules and dose records | Access is blocked when we receive the request, and a scheduled deletion job removes it after a 30-day grace period |
| Device tokens and family alert settings | Removed in the same deletion job for that household or account |
| Consent records and purchase status | Removed when the household is deleted. Payment history kept by Google follows Google's policies |
When a household owner deletes their account, the whole household is deleted. Removing a connection or deleting server data doesn't delete the medicines and records on each phone, so follow the steps above to delete device data too.
